We believe in our community.
Within our store, friendships form. Fellow collectors meet and discuss common interests.
Colleagues and acquaintances find each other in the same place and discover shared interests. New
collectors and fans learn from the experienced collectors. Old friends run into each other and rekindle
friendships. Conversations ensue; debates begin. We have watched this community grow
over the past few years and expect to see this continue. Our visitors become friends and we get to know
each of them in the process.
More and more, we are asked
if we do sales online. The answer is no. We want people to visit our store to feel that
sense of community. We want you to see for yourself everything we have to offer and join the conversations
that are happening every day. Whether you want to debate Batman vs. Wolverine, discuss Marvel Legends action
figures or sound off about the latest movie release, we want you to be a part of the community! If you are from out of town,
we also want you to see what Erie has to offer beyond ACTIONTOYMAN. Art, music, cuisine, local attractions,
and events could keep you busy for days or weeks, depending how much time you have to spend and when you plan your visit.
While online sales may hold a place in our future, we need to do it thoughtfully and when it best
fits into our business. Many of our customers are collectors, who want to know exactly what they are buying
and the condition of the item. Seeing the action figure or comic book in person is the best way to know
what you are purchasing, which is another reason we prefer to do sales here in the store. If and when we
move into online sales, we intend to do so in a manner that satisfies the collector with the same value and quality we provide
currently. Until we are able to do that, we will continue to focus on what we do best, taking care of the
visitors who walk through our door each day.
